Our attention has been drawn to a situation wherein certain
members of the public have received communications /
messages claiming to be for job interviews/offers at Toyota
Kirloskar Motor Private Limited (Toyota) and later demanding
money for accepting their applications. These messages
appear to be circulated through WhatsApp, emails and other
social media platforms. Members of the public are hereby
informed that Toyota does not ask or collect any amounts of
money from job applicants at any stage of the recruitment
process. This is to inform you that certain unscrupulous
persons (individuals, firms, companies, etc.) are attempting
to defraud potential job applicants by claiming to represent
Toyota and demanding payment of money in specified accounts
as a deposit for interview to or employment opportunities.
Toyota has already initiated criminal action against a few
perpetrators of such fraudulent activities. We strongly
advise and caution the public to understand the factual
position and not to apply or pay any money to any person
based on such fraudulent recruitment communications /
messages. Toyota shall not be liable or responsible for any
consequences arising from payment of money by any person in
response to such communications / messages. If you require

Our attention has been drawn by certain members of the
public that they have received emails / communications for
job interviews/offers at Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Pte Ltd,
our regional office in Singapore (TMAP). This has been
communicated through emails and online job portals (such as
LinkedIn).This is to inform you that certain unscrupulous
persons (individuals, firms, companies, etc.) are misleading
potential job applicants by claiming to represent TMAP
and/or Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd., (TKM) and requesting
for certain amounts of money in specified accounts as a
deposit for travels for interview to or employment pass
applications in Singapore.Such recruitment emails /
communications requesting for deposits are purely made with
an intention defraud the public.Potential job applicants are
hereby informed that TMAP and TKM do not ask or collect any
money or payment of any kind from potential job applicants
in order to consider them for interviews or to secure
employment. TMAP/TKM have already initiated criminal action
against the perpetrators of such actions.We therefore
caution the general public against relying on or acting on
such fraudulent recruitment emails / communications.
TMAP/TKM will not be responsible for any consequences or
liability arising from such emails / communications.Should
