Dear Sir,
I purchased my dream car TOP Model of INNOVA on 04 May 09 from Ahmedabad. Today when I am writing to you on 17 Jun 09, I would like to place it on the record that as a INNOVA FAN and driving as a family ( non taxi) I have completed a journey of 10000 Km in record time period of 45 days. My pilgrimage from Ahmedabad to Gangotri in Uttrakhand was as given below:-
I drove down from Ahmedabad on 04 May 09 and started at 1400 hrs and reached without getting tired at 0645 hrs on 05 May 09 at Suratgarh in Rajasthan covering a distance of 890 Km.
After resting for two days in Suratgrah I travelled from Suratgarh to New Delhi casted my vote for 15th Lokshabha and got my vehicle registered and thereafter returned back to my base. I had my first service done at MGF Toyota in Gurgaon.
On 13 MAY 09, I along with my kids and wife travelled from Suratgarh to New Delhi and reached Patiala same night. After a night halt went and had darshan of Devi at Jawalamukhi in Himachala Pradesh and conducted Pooja of my car there.
I took a leave for 3 weeks and reached Delhi on 20 Jun 09 and had second servicing of my INNOVA after covering 5000 Km again at MGF Toyota. I was really happy to see the servicing and repair schedule and system at this Toyota Works shop.
I commenced second lap of my pilgrimage on 25 May 09 and travelled from New Delhi to Kanpur, a brief stay of two days in leather city we ( five adult and from kids from 10 years to 4 years) travelled with bag an baggage to Chitrakoot in Uttarpradesh from there to Anusuya Devi in MP and further to Maiher Devi in Satna in Madhya Pradesh only. After climing gruesome 1051 steps and at temperature of 45 degree we could travel without getting tired to Vindhya chal in Mirjapur in Uttarpradesh again. This journey commenced at 0530 hrs in morning and ended at 0030 hrs next day. Vindhya vasini devi is a Shakti peeth in Mirja pur and one of the most revered place for Sanatan Dhrma. After darshan we started for Kashi ( Varanasi ) and there had darshan of Kal Bhirava followed by the darshana of Kashi Vishwanath and Annapurna Devi.
Post lunch we started for Allahabad and had dip in holy water of Sangam at 0600 hrs in the evening, had dinner there only and reached Kanpur at 1130 hrs in the night. The comfort and luxury of INNOVA can be judged with blessing of old couple in age group 65 years who had desire to go for a cup of tea after a long travel of 13 hrs. This couple though used to like Safari is now an INNOVA fan themselves. By this time we had covered 8000 Km.
Friends story does not end here, accompanied with family of my brother in law and my kids we reached Delhi on 02 Jun 09 and after resting for a day in Delhi, third leg of our travel and pilgrimage started with first destination being Dehradoon. Here after enjoying short trip on the Moosori highway in the evening and enjoying the cool breez when delhi is burning hot, on 06 Jun 09 at 1130 hrs commenced a journey to Uttrakashi, via Moosori Dhanaulti Tehri. Here came the real test of INNOVA its luxury and suspension and comfort. Having descended from the Chamba to Tehri, still under the impression that road to Uttrakashi is via Tehri Dam, we reached the Dam site. It is wonderful site; but heart breaking too, the old and ancient Tehri town no longer exits there. Locals helped us and informed that either we go back to Chamba or take a short cut of 24 to 30 Km to Chach on a road which is under construction with out tarmac. So the destination Chach was in the muddy and un even road, putting INNOVA under the real test of it strength and design. If one see this road it is really unbelievable to even imagine that we covered 38 Km on that road, that too without getting tired. Of course our strength was our Guruji Shri Shri 1008 Akshobhya Nand Nath Ji Maharaj who blessed us and my Innova by travelling along with us all the way to Gangotri and back to Dehradoon. I can say INNOVA cleared this gruesome test (I am sure even Toyota must not have put their test cars under this kind of tough and real roads of INDIA). I am happy that my Guru ji passed the INNOVA for its comfort and strength with flying colour even putting it ahead of Captive of GM. I think this journey from Tehri to Chach was a practice run given to me by the god, to prepare me for the next sojourn I met at Gangotri route. After travelling 09 hrs in the hills of Garhwal we reached at Uttarkashi GMVN Rest House.
The next day journey started early in the morning at 0830 hrs. We were under the impression that after creation of state of Uttarkhgand roads to Gangotri; the most revered pilgrimage of Hindu should be next best any NH. The road was along Bhagirathi and giving us a feeling of following a sine wave some tie reached the crest and some time trough skimming frozen water of Bhagirathi. The dream of nice road was shattered after reching Bhatwari and journey was as gruesome as from Tehri, reason being land bad gravel roads due land slide and blowing off of hills by Hydroelectric Pariyojna on Bhagriathi. This journey was 25 Km long on kachcha only again putting INNOVA to test. But it was practice driving for me as I was already made to drive on the similar road by god on previous day. All shocks of the roads were forgotten by all after enjoying the scenic beauty of Himalayas and tree line of pine trees of course the holy dip in frozen water of Gangotri not only took away all tiredness but also bad feeling on the roads. We returned back to the base on same day at Uttarkashi and had rest there for a day. Performed pooja at Kashi Vishwanath temple of Uttarkashi and returned to Dehira doon on 09 Jun 09.
I finally returned to New Delhi and had covered almost 9300Km, and was yet to cover another 500 Km to my base Suratgarh. Therefore, I decided to have my third free servicing at Uttam Toyota in Ghaziabad. Next day we travelled to Suratgarh and totaling 9800 Km and I touched the mark of 10000 Km after a short journey to Ganganagr on 17 Jun 09 precisely 45 days after I purchased my car.
So friend this story of pilgrimage in my Innova and I can say it that I am happy!
