Toyota establishes industry best warranty coverage

  • Change of vehicle warranty period from 2 Years/50,000 Km to 3 Years/1,00,000 Km, whichever is earlier.
  • Emission Warranty is changed from 3 Years / 80,000 Km to 3 Years/1,00,000 Km whichever is earlier.
  • Revised warranty applicable to Camry, Corolla, Landcruiser Prado and Innova

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced an increase in the warranty period for all its vehicles Corolla, Camry, Landcruiser Prado and the recently launched Innova.

The new warranty period has been revised from 2 years/50,000 Kms (which ever is earlier) to 3 years/1,00,000 Kms (which ever is earlier). This revised warranty period is available to vehicles retailed on or after March 1; 2005.The Emission warranty has been revised from 3 years/80,000 Kms (whichever is earlier) to 3 years/1,00,000 Kms (which ever is earlier).

On the revised warranty as market leaders it has been TKM endeavour to provide continuous improvement on our products and processes. The extension of warranty on our vehicles reflects the improvement we have made to our products and processes. The revised warranty sets new benchmarks for the Indian Automotive market and is not only aimed at providing our existing customers added value but also attract potential customers across various segments.

TKM has 44 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) dealers across the country with a total service staff of 2500 personnel. Over 1800 vehicles are serviced daily across all dealerships. Over 800 service personnel are trained at the Bidadi plant annually.

TKM is a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation and the Kirloskar Group. TKM has invested nearly Rs. 1500 crores in its plant at Bidadi, employing over 2,300 people. The plant started production in December 1999 and has a capacity of producing 60,000 units annually.
