Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) and ICICI Bank have come together for launching India's first automobile credit card, the Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Credit Card. Through this tie-up, all customers who purchase a new Toyota vehicle will be offered a host of benefits that are uniquely packaged as a part of this initiative.

The alliance with ICICI Bank is in keeping with the Toyota value of 'customer first'. All our activities have our customers as their primary focus. We are constantly looking at opportunities for serving our customers better and in providing added value to them".

The Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Credit Card provides a basket of benefits that facilitates all aspect of motoring from car to fuel purchases. This offer will be available to both new and existing customers of Toyota, which are currently more than 2 lakh in number".

Speaking on this occasion, Ms. Chanda Kochhar, Executive Director, ICICI Bank, said, "We are pleased to announce the launch of the first co-branded automobile credit card. The value added benefits provided on the Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Credit Card will give Toyota customers a better payment flexibility and convenience. The benefits accrued can be utilized across the complete ownership cycle of the Toyota vehicles. Customers can also choose to utilize these either directly for the servicing and maintenance of the vehicle, or otherwise like a credit card rewards program. The co-branded program will mutually work towards strengthening customer relationships and is a win-win for the Bank, Toyota and customers".

The Toyota - ICICI Bank Edge:

• On joining the co-branded credit-card program, the cardholder will be offered one free service voucher, redeemable across any of the Toyota Dealers nationally. A 5% discount will be offered on standard Toyota accessories, purchased via the co-branded credit card at a Toyota dealership
• The Cardholder would earn 4 reward points for every Rs. 100 spent on Credit Card at Dealer and 1 reward point for every Rs. 200 spent on Credit Card at Merchant Establishment. The reward points earned can be redeemed against servicing of vehicles at the dealership and also for parts and accessories.
• The Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Credit Card has been powered with a unique rewards program called "Multiplier Rewards Scheme". "Multiplier Rewards" gives the customer the power of multiplying his existing reward points by 10 times and pay for the purchase of a new Toyota car. Customers can use the reward points, to pay for the service of the car and to buy car accessories.
• Cardholders can earn upto 10 reward points on every Rs. 200 spent through the "Accelerated Rewards Program". The number of points earned will vary for different amount of spends done by the cardholder in a given year.
• The Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Credit Card will be offered on the lines of the 'International Gold Card' feature, which has an added incentive of being 'free for life'. This means that the co-branded credit card will not attract any renewal fees or annual fees.
• The cardholders would also be able to make down payment for the purchase their car through the Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Credit Card.
• Cardholders also have the option of converting the down payment amount into Equated Monthly Installments while purchasing a new Toyota vehicle. All EMI's paid on the card will be charged a special rate of 8.5% per annum repayable over a 12 month period.
• Other offers for cardholders include special discounts on labour and component spends at Toyota dealerships, fuel surcharge waiver when purchased from HPCL outlets and other value added program benefits such as Personal Accident Insurance Coverage.

The Toyota ICICI Bank Co-Branded Card initiative seeks to provide greater convenience and benefits to existing as well as new buyers of Toyota vehicles. The service product comes into effect immediately.
