Bangalore, June 03, 2008: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today felicitated Chikkarangappa, a 14-year-old adolescent for representing India at Toyota Junior Golf World Cup that will take place in Japan on. (Date).
Chikkarangappa is based out of Rangagoadanaddi village situated 6 km from TKM Bidadi plant. Achieving the title of a new Star in the country's junior golf horizon, he is the No.1 in Cat B (13-14 years) and No. 5 in Cat A (15-17 years). He has also represented India twice at the Asian Junior Championship in Malaysia early this year and the Asia Pacific Championship in Hong Kong last month.
Encouraging the child Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa, managing director, TKM said, "It is the duty of every citizen to encourage and reward the young talent, as the country's future lies in the hands of young people. They have a better way of thinking and executing their potential. TKM has always appreciated such youngsters and rewarded them in the past. In future, we look at having more talented people from Bidadi participating in this contest."
In order to encourage the young talent Toyota Kirloskar Motor has presented a sports wear kit as a token of appreciation and his achievements. And has organized a felicitation party at Eagleton with the child and his family/friends on 12th of this month.
