Mumbai, January 20, 2008: Toyota Kirloskar Motor in its effort to come closer to its customers has set up the fourth dealership in Mumbai - Millennium Toyota. With this, Toyota's dealer network across 51 states in India touches 64. The new outlet, which offers sales, financing and insurance facilities, is aimed at being more accessible to the customer and offering an enhanced purchase experience.

Toyota U Trust, Toyota's used car business was also launched at Millennium Toyota today. Set to facilitate sales, purchase and exchange of Toyota and non-Toyota cars, 'Toyota U Trust' aims to offer potential customers an opportunity to exchange their old cars of any make for a brand new Toyota, allowing them an opportunity to upgrade. It will also cater to customers who want to exchange their cars for competitively priced used Toyota cars. Customers will also be provided with a wide range of value added services including finance options at the 'Toyota U Trust' outlets.

Customers are eligible to obtain certification for the Toyota vehicles they purchase through 'Toyota U Trust', which is eligible for warranty as well. The service manual for certified Toyota cars will come with a warranty up to 1 year/15,000 km. Additionally the cars can get up to three labour free services at Toyota dealerships. Warranty is provided on the engine and gearbox/driveline of all certified Toyota cars.

Mr. (), inaugurated Millennium Toyota in the presence of other officials from TKM and Millennium Toyota.

Inaugurating the dealership, Mr. () said, "We at Toyota have reached yet another milestone by the setting up of the 64th dealership in the country. This expansion plan is in line with our aim to achieve 10% market share by 2010. This is our seventh dealership in Maharashtra. We have moved a step closer to our customers in Mumbai with the setting up of Millennium Toyota."

Spread over a total area of 10700 sq.ft, Millennium Toyota will have a total staff strength of 30 personnel. Millennium Toyota will cater to the needs of the customers in the Western suburb of Mumbai. Toyota has been expanding its dealership network since its entry in the Indian Automobile market in the year 2000. Starting from 25 3-S dealerships in 2000, Toyota today has a network of 63 3-S dealers across the country. Toyota's dealerships today cover not just the Tier 1 cities of India like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai but also Tier 2 cities like Kannur, Dehradun, Nagpur, Rajkot, Bhubaneshwar, Vijaywada, Trichy among others.

Toyota products Innova, Corolla, Camry and Prado have been very well accepted in the Indian market. Toyota sold more 40,194 units of the Innova and 7,168 units of the Corolla for the period January - December 2006. Toyota also sold more than 977 units of the recently launched 6th Generation Camry and more than 150 units of the Prado for the said period.
