Mangalagiri, 18th November 2025: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the handover of essential classroom infrastructure and learning support materials to rural schools in Andhra Pradesh, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for FY 2025-26. As part of this initiative, TKM extended support to 13 government schools in Mangalagiri taluk of Guntur district, benefiting more than 3,600 students.

Piloting this initiative in Andhra Pradesh, TKM is working to enhance learning environments in government schools. The intervention focuses on upgrading classroom infrastructure, supporting hygienic preparation of mid-day meals, and creating spaces that encourage active participation in sports activities. The effort aims to make schools more engaging, inclusive, and conducive to growth. Early outcomes include improved classroom spaces with better quality furniture that improves the overall learning experience, hygienic meal preparation that enhances nutritional value, and increased student participation in sports.

A formal handover ceremony took place at the District Collector’s office, in the presence of Ms. A. Thameem Ansariya, District Collector (DC), Ms. C V Renuka, District Education Officer (DEO), and members of TKM’s CSR Division.

Appreciating TKM’s efforts, Ms. A. Thameem Ansariya, District Collector, said, “We appreciate TKM’s efforts in strengthening educational infrastructure in Guntur district. The support provided to these schools will enhance both learning and extracurricular opportunities for our students. We are confident that this intervention will have a positive impact on the educational outcomes and the holistic development of children in our communities.”

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Vikram Gulati, Country Head and Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Governance, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “True transformation begins at the grassroots level.
