Nagaland, 02nd December 2025: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Nagaland, reaffirming its commitment to community development, sustainable growth and social responsibility.

Under this collaboration, TKM will implement CSR initiatives in the domains of health and education during FY 2025–26. The initiatives will focus on key pillars such as education enhancement, healthcare infrastructure strengthening, hygiene promotion and community development, collectively aiming to improve the quality of health and education of more than 4.4 lakh beneficiaries in Kohima and Dimapur districts of Nagaland.

The signing ceremony took place at Bamboo Hall, Kisama Heritage Village of Nagaland in the presence of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, alongside senior dignitaries from the Government of Nagaland and TKM leadership, Mr. Sudeep Dalvi, Chief Communication Officer, Senior Vice President and Director and other senior executives.

Welcoming these initiatives, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Nagaland, said, "It is my privilege to be a witness to this MoU Exchange Ceremony and I want to thank Toyota Kirloskar Motor for choosing Nagaland as a partner in their CSR initiatives. The MoU reflects Toyota's intent to improve public health services, enhance learning environment and create long term social impact on our people."

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sudeep Dalvi, Chief Communication Officer, Senior Vice President and Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “Toyota being a brand with purpose, is deeply committed to empowering communities through sustainable activations. Through strategic healthcare initiatives, we aim to strengthen existing healthcare facilities and by educational interventions, we strive to improve the quality of education of the children of Nagaland”

Key Initiatives:

  • Health and Hygiene: TKM’s health initiatives are centered on enhancing access to quality life by upgrading existing facilities with critical lifesaving medical and non-medical equipment thereby strengthening public health systems at 9 Health Centres and 2 District Hospitals of Kohima and Dimapur.
  • Education: TKM believes that quality education is the cornerstone of nation-building. To strengthen existing school infrastructure and create an enabling learning environment, TKM will provide basic educational aids to Government High School, Sovima and Govt Higher Secondary School, Chiechama, enhancing the overall educational experience of students.

Early outcomes of these initiatives include improved overall health outcomes, quality classroom infrastructure that enhances the overall learning experience, hygienic meal preparation that increases nutritional value and supply of sports material which will strengthen student participation in sports.
