As part of the CSR-led intervention, TKM will provide comprehensive training support, including Service Skills, Body & Mind modules focused on discipline and workplace readiness materials. The year-long program is designed for final-year Diploma students. It integrates classroom instruction with practical exposure through On-Job Training (OJT) at authorized Toyota dealerships. The program also offers an industry-aligned curriculum tailored to the needs of the Indian auto industry
This initiative aligns closely with the Government of India’s Skill India Mission, contributing to national priorities of building a future-ready workforce. By creating a steady pipeline of industry-trained professionals, TKM aims to drive long-term socio-economic impact, particularly for youth from underserved and rural communities.
Appreciating TKM efforts, Prof. Dr. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT, said, "This partnership will help elevate the skill levels of our students, especially those from rural backgrounds. The comprehensive training provided by TKM will empower our students to make meaningful contributions to the automotive sector and the nation. With access to Toyota’s global training standards, industry-aligned curriculum and dealership-based on-job training, our students will gain the skills and confidence required to excel in their careers."
Expressing his views on the collaboration, Mr. Vikram Gulati, Country Head & Executive Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, "We understand the power of technical education in unlocking opportunities for young talent and equipping them with advanced automotive skills.
