Knowledge:

Spanning specialized knowledge, General knowledge, Information technology, Technical know-how and Global economic awareness

Skill:

Training in Welding, Painting, Vehicle Assembly & Mechatronics (Maintenance) Following Toyota's key methodologies of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, 5S, Kaizen and Karakuri. Training in Industry shop floor (On the Job Training), Multi Skilling, Basic Metrology, Project Work, Quality Control Circle.

Body & Mind:

Work without fatigue in an industry demands healthy body with Shoulder strength, Abdomen strength, Endurance, Back Strength and Grip Strength which are developed through sports & specific fitness Training methodologies. The students are molded with Industry focused attitude through personality development training based on “Our Attitude”, extracted from guiding principle of Toyota.

WHO CAN APPLY ?

The admission at present is open to rural school students (only boys) from Karnataka. Following are the other qualifications

Academic: SSLC with minimum 50% marks in Maths & Science and overall aggregate of 50% and above.
Age limit: 15-17 years , as on July 15th of the year of admission
NOTE: THOSE WHO HAVE COMPLETED OR HOLDING ONLY OTHER FORMAL DEGREE/ DIPLOMA/ ITI CERTIFICATES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. CANDIDATE SHOULD PASS SSLC BY FIRST ATTEMPT.

HOW TO APPLY ?

Advertisement: The advertisement will be published in leading Kannada news paper(Vijaya Karnataka, Vijaya Vani, Prajavani ) soon after SSLC results announcement.
Written Test: The written test dates is mentioned in the advertisement along with centre details.
Those who fulfill the above qualification can walk-in for the written test at the nearest examination center on the respective dates.

& Ramanagar (Bidadi)

Documents to be produce on the day of written test :

  • SSLC Marks Card or Temporary SSLC Marks Card attested by the School Headmaster ( Original + 1 photocopy)
  • SSLC Hall Ticket (1 photocopy)
  • 4 Passport size photographs

SELECTION PROCESS

TRAINING @ TTTI

Privilages:

Tuition Fee: Nil.
Fellowship : Students are entitled for an annual fellowship ranging from Rs. 7000-9000/- based on the performance in the examination and excellence in attitude & behavior.
Accommodation Boarding and lodging, food, uniform & other training aids are provided by TTTI.
Students stay in dormitory is mandatory.
The admission at present is open to rural school students (only boys) from Karnataka.

Training at Toyota Technical Training Institute is not restricted to classrooms and workshops alone. TTTI exclusively emphasizes on the overall personality development of the trainees under its unique training system named "Body & Mind" Training.

Students' attitude is mentored through activities like 5S, Kaizen, enhancing the core values like Honesty, Humility, Courage, Responsibility, and Teamwork. The interpersonal skills are instilled in the students through Human Relationship Principles which is a prominent factor of TTTI's curriculum.

Various clubs as a part of Physical Fitness and Attitudinal training are such platforms that bring the creative talents of the trainees to the fore. Periodic evaluation verifies the holistic growth of students.

The Physical Fitness training schedule of the day begins with health run & yoga and ends with sports as a team building activity under the supervision of eminent physical trainers. Students contest in various inter-college, taluk levels, district levels tournaments and World 10K competitions winning the highest rankings.

CERTIFICATION

Toyota Certificate:

The successful students are awarded with course completion certificate by the Institute.

National Apprenticeship Certificate:

After completion of the coursethe students are qualified for appearing National Apprenticeship Scheme examination conducted by National Council on Vocational Training (NCVT).

ASDC Certificate:

Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) assess & certify the students as Automobile Technician - Level 4 in respective trades.

Japan India Institute for Manufacturing ( JIM )

TTTI is one of the certified institutes by the government of Japan through the Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM) for its seamless efforts and immense contribution in up scaling the skill levels of the industry.


World Skill Contest:

  • World skill competition is the global hub for skill excellence and development through international cooperation and development between Industry, Government , institutions and organizations.
  • More than 1200 competitors from 74 countries & regions compete in 50 different skills.
  • Opportunity to participate in National Skill Competition & World Skill Competition (Skill Olympics) in different Skill categories (Mechatronics, Car Painting , Prototype Modelling).
  • TTTI 2011 batch student secured 4th position in World Skill Competition 2015 held at Sao Paulo, Brazil & won “Medallion of Excellence”.
